At the Symposium for occupational diseases the study “Yoga education of the psychophysical capabilities of the working man in the culture of labour” was presented. This is a longitudinal study that presents the experiences with workers, yoga practitioners, in several towns in Macedonia during different periods in 1987, 1995 and 1999.
The study “Possibilities for application of yoga for normal psychophysical development of children and youth” (S. Gjogieska, MD, P. K. Hassanagas, B. Gjorgieski, MD and L. Georgieva) was presented also. It compares the results gathered from the regular systematic examinations of school children and students with high percentage of pathological diagnosis and the results of school children and students who visit the yoga courses in several towns in Macedonia.
