A STUDY STAY IN INDIA
Upon invitation by the Vivekananda Kendra Yoga Research Foundation, teacher Pavlos K. Hassanagas, with the yoga instructors Vanco Taseski and Blagoja Gjorgieski, MD participated at the 3rd International Conference on the latest findings from the research and application of yoga (23-27 December 1995) near Bangalore, India.
The scientific study “Yoga as a complementary method for rehabilitation of patients after infarct of the myocardium” was presented, that is based on the experiences from the specialized courses held at the Institute for Cardiology in Ohrid from April till December 1995. The study was also presented at the 6th World Congress on Holistic Life and Medicine in Calicut, India (5-7 January 1996), organized by the University of Calicut and the World Federation for Holistic Life. Another study was also presented there, “Yoga education on the psychophysical capabilities of the working man in the culture of labour”.
