ALTRAVITA FAIR 2003

The AltraVITA fair took place for the first time in Skopje from 30 September to 4 October 2003, sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment and Urban Planning.
The basic idea behind the fair was to present and promote alternative medicine, health food and ways to create and maintain a clean and healthy environment. A great number of participants from Macedonia and neighbouring countries took part in the fair. |

From 5th to 8th September, the Yoga Federation of Macedonia took part in the International Medicine Market for the fourth time. This year the Federation presented the activity of the Science and Research Board, i.e. the scientific researches that were made in the course of 1999 and 2000 and presented in a number of national and international scientific meetings. |

| The participation of Yoga Federation of Macedonia at the Fair was part of its activities in the Week of Yoga. As a noncommercial exhibitor, the Yoga Federation offered the visitors interesting information through posters, photo placards and reviews of several yoga techniques, with messages for a healthy life, under the motto “Holistic Approach for Holistic Health”. |

MEDICINE FAIR 1997

| The Yoga Federation was an exhibitor at “Medicine Fair ‘97”, from 15th – 18th of April. Yoga was presented as an exceptionally beneficent, preventive and therapeutic method, which in the past years has been applied in prevention and reduction of consequences of different psychosomatic disorders. Its basic concepts were presented in a visually attractive and interesting way through posters, graphics and short texts. The visitors were introduced with the contents of the scientific research of the influence of yoga techniques in the rehabilitation of cardiovascular disorders, rehabilitation of patients with kidney insufficiencies etc. |
