HOW DOES YOGA HELP THE FUTURE MOTHER?
The techniques are selected and modified for this sensitive period of a woman's life. The courses are based on the methodology of TEACHER PAVLOS K. HASSANAGAS.The courses are taught by yoga professors and instructors specially trained in this field.

DURING PREGNANCY

  • Increasing body awareness

  • Keeping the body fit

  • Balancing the metabolism

  • Increasing breathing awareness

  • Learning proper breathing and control over it

  • Maintaining proper energy flow and energy balance

  • Increasing awareness of thoughts and feelings and control over them

  • Physical and mental relaxation

  • Calmness and harmony

  • Developing a positive mental attitude

  • Developing a more conscious contact with the baby

DURING DELIVERY

  • Increased awareness during the delivery

  • Improved mind-body coordination

  • Improved control of different muscles

  • Proper use of the breathing

  • Conscious relaxation between contractions and energy restoration

  • Improved cooperation with the doctor and the midwife

AFTER DELIVERY

  • Faster restore of the body figure

  • Improved coping with emotional changes, such as post-partum blues

  • Natural adjustment to life changes

  • Maintaining inner calmness and harmony that passes onto the baby

  • The mother becomes aware that her life continues and that she should take care not only for the baby, but for herself also.
