WHAT IS YOGA?
Yoga is a science
about man and life in general. It helps us understand ourselves and achieve self-control. It brings us in harmony with nature and with the environment we live in. It maintains our wellbeing, allows proper energy flow, provides calmness and relaxation, and thus overcomes stress, tension and everyday fatigue. It is a method of psychophysical education consisting of various techniques:
Asanas -
body postures
Pranayama - breathing techniques
Bandhas -
neuromuscular contractions
Mudras -
techniques for channeling the energy
Kriya -
techniques for inner cleansing
The techniques for relaxation, concentration, visualisation and meditation harmonise our psycho-mental functions and bring us spiritual serenity.
The techniques are selected and modified for this sensitive period of a woman's life. The courses are based on the methodology of TEACHER
PAVLOS K. HASSANAGAS.The courses are taught by yoga professors and instructors specially trained in this field.
